Co-Founder & Lead Instructor
Meet Coach Ryan — a co-founder and lifelong martial artist with over 20 years of training experience and over a decade of teaching Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, MMA, Muay Thai, self-defense, and more. He holds black belts in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Tom DeBlass, as well as in Karate and Taekwondo, and has led competitive teams to numerous tournament victories. Coach Ryan is a trusted instructor for everyone, from first-time students to seasoned fighters.

Our kids’ classes are typically open to students starting at age 7.
We focus on building confidence, discipline, and fundamental skills in a supportive and engaging environment tailored to their age group.

In Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Gi training uses a traditional uniform that allows grips on clothing, while No Gi is trained in athletic wear and focuses more on movement, speed, and body control.
At Fusion Martial Arts of Warren, our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program focuses on No Gi training, which aligns closely with MMA training and practical grappling.
