In Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Gi refers to training in a traditional martial arts uniform, which includes a jacket, pants, and belt.
The Gi allows for grips on the clothing, which adds unique techniques and strategies.
No Gi training, on the other hand, is done in athletic wear like rash guards and shorts, focusing more on speed and body control without using clothing grips.
Both styles offer great benefits, and many students enjoy training in both to develop a well-rounded game.
